Punjabi Chicken with Spinach












Recipe

Ingredients for marinate:
Chicken boneless 500 g
Ginger garlic paste 1- ½ tbsp
Salt ¼ tsp
Lime juice of 1 lemon
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Red Chilli powder ¼ tsp
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Yogurt 100 ml
For the curry
Oil 3 tbsp
Tomatoes (finely chopped) 2 
Onion (finely sliced) 1
Splash of water 
Spinach leaves 175 g

Directions:


1. Mix the marinade and apply to the chicken and keep aside for 15 mins.
2. Heat a pan and add the chopped onions with oil and fry for 1 to 2 minutes. Then add the tomatoes and cook for another 3 minutes
3. Then add the chicken with the marinade and cook for 15 mins or until tender.
4. Add the spinach and cook for another 5 minutes and serve.
